Michael, that's a drag, but the most important thing, of course, is that no one was hurt. You mentioned on the CFZ that your Honda was crumpled pretty good ... about 10 years ago I had a head-on collision in an '82 Prelude. I was doing about 45 mph when a big old Chrysler in the oncoming lane, at a dead stop and signalling a left turn, inexplicably began that turn just as I arrived ... no time to hit the brakes, I just plowed right into him.

Well, that Honda crumpled as well -- the engine compartment looked like an accordian -- but it absorbed enough energy that I walked away unscathed. I've been a big fan of crumpling Hondas (and seat belts) ever since ... <g>
