Tim, Well, truth be known, I'm glad I wasn't in my Mitsubishi Eclipse sportster (My Mom's wheelchair doesn't fit and my girlfriend grabs it whenever she can). But it is much quicker than the Honda and I might have been in front of the truck in a faster car. However, I am not a speed demon anyway, so probably not. A side hit would have meant death or serious injury for me and I don't know how much protection Mom would have had, though the impact would not have been on her side.
