The "second half rebound" seems like an obvious fantasy. We're screwed for at least a year. On the other hand, I will be genuinely shocked if the economy isn't in tip-top shape by 2002 election time. Even that, however, doesn't mean a return to previous tech-bubble valuations. That will take four-five years IMHO.
