Rich I do not put all the blame on socialist. Nor do I claim the world would be a better place without liberals. The Dark Ages are a warning to those who argue for a society ruled by religious leaders. You use the word perfect harmony and yes I like harmony. However, nowhere do I state that harmony is defined by conservatism. A bird needs two wings to fly. Yin and Yang !!! Indeed most of what I rebel against is that the left seeks to have only one wing and is out of balance. Indeed liberals seem to want the conservatives to work 50 to 70 hours a week creating routers and code but hand over the money to them to be wasted in failed policies. A good example of this is the energy crisis in California.
To be honest other than my absolute contempt for big government and rule by elitists I am liberal in most of my outlooks on the issues of life in the matters of sex, food, drugs and other topics.
Actually I hope for a day when mankind is not ruled by kings or courts or religions but by himself. The Sovereign Individual.
