IMHO, what Intel is doing with lowering the maximum temperatures is a poor engineering practice. When Intel starting pulling this stunt (I believe in December of '99), my extended family (which has more than a few engineers and several EEs) sold virtually all their Intel holdings and put most of the money into AMD. Because of this issue, I currently would have nothing to do with any Intel CPU over an 866 Mhz PIII. Mike
