The Florida recount is still going on. Duval County has refused to allow recounting of its ballots, although it is required to do so under Florida's Sunshine Laws. The Miami Herald is suing Duval County in order to see the ballots.

Just as a reminder, Duval County is the Republican controlled county that includes Jacksonville. It had a 9% ballot-reject rate on Election Day. That rate was over 30% in some inner-city Jacksonville precincts. They also told the Gore campaign that they had only 300 or 400 rejected ballots instead of the true number, 27,000, so the Gore campaign never asked for a recount in Duval County. Interesting, huh?
