Glenn, lets not single out Akami, lets look at the entire content delivery group.
Why have they all got whacked by Wall Street?

James,

I was not advocating buying AKAM right this minute. I was doing an FA analysis only which more often than not, has no clear connection to the movement of the underlying stock price. I just thought I would waste some good time on doing a decent explanation of the AKAM business model.

Right now I'm trying to avoid buying any broken stocks that haven't got into the black.
My investment strategy currently is very simple.
Look for stocks still breaking out of 52 week highs, buy them, then maybe look to see what the company does.
My logic is this. How could these stocks be still going up if there were more sellers than buyers.?

This clearly is the way to make money in the market. Using FA by itself, is worthless.

PS Akamai actually is not in the same space as many of the other content delivery firms. The stock prices of them all move together just like all the dot coms moved up together a few years ago regardless of quality.
