I'm not quite certain what the tiling feature is, unless it is tiling the wallpaper.

But I am not doing that, I have no wallpaper. Merely a blank blue screen. It's a total mystery. The closest that I might compare this to is this from your link,

support.microsoft.com

I dunno. If I ever figure this out again I shall post it, presuming that it may be more common than it appears.

Heck, if nothing else I might have it happen to me a third time in a few months and I'll be able to trace the fix instead of starting from scratch.
