Oh no, I doubt it is related to Systemworks. Just the use of Speed Disk before the problem troubles me however. I used to have such vague problems years ago on Macs after using Speed Disk from Norton Utilities, circa 1991.

Still does not mean that Norton fouled the drinking water, only that it was the last person at the well.

But no on the other possibility. Ran the gauntlet on possible problems and the "Hide Pointer while typing" came up but it was not enabled. I think that what I shall have to do is contact Dell and see what they have to say. They probably gave me the fix last Summer.

Now by chance I have to travel Tuesday, but if Dell is able to provide a clue then I shall post it for reference purposes. Obviously I'm the only person this happens to, but as chance would have it a record here may be of some use to someone, at sometime.
