I hate to sound conspiritorial but I think if the market ever does turn we might well find out that a good part of the reason that it went down so hard and stayed down so long was with the full cooperation of the American Barrick top management. It helps if you are shorting thousands of tonnes to have the assistance of a veritable mountain of gold in the goldstrike deposit. Maybe instead of Ophra they could hold their conversion on Court TV.
