Hi KC,

Absolutely, it is after all a zero-sum game. The money we make or lose is from anyone who wants play including the average Joe.

My point was more about the fact that Joe (and Jill) six-pack are dollar cost averaging into mutual funds every month which contain stocks at outrageously high valuations when IMHO, they shouldn't be. They're buying RIM at $200 and not even knowing it, or not caring. They are under the pretense that this is "investing". Its really just speculating that someone else will pay $205. I guess it really has always been like that but we are at an extreme point in the market's history and "Dollar cost averaging Joe and Jill" are woefully unprepared.
