Bob, There is no need to cool hydrogen to -253 C to store it efficiently. Energy Conversion Devices (ENER)has a hydride storage system that safely stores 45% more hydrogen than the same volume of liquid hydrogen, and does it at room temperature. They are developing prototypes jointly with Texaco. ovonic.com

BTW, I own both GLE and ENER.
