How to deal with real Piranhas. When the cowboys of Central Brazil drive their overland since they are raised on soft soil eating grass. So they can't be put on trains for the long journey. They have too soft hoofs. To cross a river infested of Piranhas they have to have handy an animal that is sick and can be sacrificed. The poor animal is forced inside the water downstream, While the Piranhas feast in its carcass, upstream, the herd is driven safely across the river. Oh, by the way Piranha is also the Brazilian slang for a hooker.
