Thanks for those forums. I was using the CanTek one on and off last summer and forgot about it. Now I have a folder in my bookmarks labeled for W2K issues and so next time it won't be overlooked. The other forum is in that folder now as well. the win2000 troubleshooters under 'help'? Yes, no help there. Matter of fact I always go there and I have never found anything that helps. I guess my technical problems are designed specifically to be difficult to analyze.
