Ron, a few days ago, I eventually figured out the third tenet that should support my prediction of a looming rapprochement between Israel, Russia and the EU. As I said, both the axis between Moscow and Tel Aviv, and between Moscow and the EU, are rather evident... However, I still needed a "clincher" to foster an Israeli-EU rapprochement --and here it comes: the next Pope will be Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger, Archbishop of Paris.
Indeed, thanks to his Jewish background (his original name was Aaron Lustiger), this guy should be instrumental in advancing a new Judeo-Christian alliance between Israel and Europe (and, incidentally, Russia). When Mgr J-M Lustiger will succeed John Paul II, the Byzantine Triad will be fulfilled....
