The annoying thing was, even presuming that he is an idiot and cannot get the damn car going by himself,

I gave him his own AAA card two weeks ago.

Also, I keep a spare portable battery in each car. He did not think to keep it charged, so there was two ways to save his own neck.

Way to save his own neck number three. It's a standard shift. How about pushing it?

-------

So anyway, I got there, pushed it with my car and it still would not start. Seems the kill switch runs off the battery which was cold. Taking his portable battery, I jammed it in the engine compartment hooked in so the kill switch had a charge to feed off and the car started on the next push. Fortunately, I get back from Florida a day after he leaves for Mardi Gras so I won't see him until Ash Wednesday.

I think the only source of stress at the moment is the parent situations, so things are normal. Or the literal meaning of SNAFU may be the most appropriate statement.

Catch you in a few days. Looking to lose some golf balls. Some of those courses near there have trouble that looks as if Humphrey Bogart will suddenly appear on the African Queen, so a dozen Titleists would be appropriate.
