..am I an idiot to think that sometime in the next two years naz rebounds somewhat..

It is interesting to hear the theories going around. One is that it just takes time for the FED cuts to make borrowing easier for the fiber optic buyers. The other is that the FED killed off, or severely damaged, so many businesses that the few that are left standing with the cash to buy do not have the pressure they used to from competitors.

On the positive side one of the largest fabs in Taiwan says the chip glut will be over in Mid March to Mid April. Also most people I hear say if the FED does continue to cut rates it has to have a positive effect - just like hiking rates caused the collapse.
