Greg, No question about it, you've discovered one of the best aspects of the Internet, i.e. the destruction of geographical barriers to commerce. Certainly a very positive application. There are many others as well. As far as my pessimism, I'm merely trying to share some ideas, and to in the meantime avoid the classic pitfall of the naive investor, putting money into "story" stocks, the vast majority of which somehow never seem to pan out. I'm quite serious about the Raza Foundries business model, BTW. It certainly has the potential to speed up "creative destruction" to a pace that precludes anyone ever making good in the public equity markets again. So, am I a pessimist, or perhaps a realist with my capital? I'm not sure just yet. It just can't be so bad that we are entering a phase that will be static for many years to come. Hmmm, I'd see this as a 50-50 wager.... ;) It either will or it won't. Ciao!
