The slippery slope argument has never much gotten respect from me. I doubt you actually believe any of that will happen here, so you're just being argumentative.

If you truly believe that in this country asking students to stand respectfully during the flag salute will lead to death camps for those students, make your argument with reasons, and we can deal with it then.
