I think drunk driving laws should be pretty strict, esp. for repeat offenders, but I'm not so sure the .08 BAC laws are a good idea. I think at .08 there is some impairment but most drunk driving accidents are caused by drivers with a lot more alcohol then that.

Have you ever been tested at that level? Most people drive poorly at that level.

Also I don't like the way the federal government is pushing it on the states. I think this should be entirely a state matter.
