What would you rather have happen? Keep Saddam at bay or let him keep crossing the line, building up weapons so he can fire Scud missiles, maybe even Nuclear weapons, at Israel and other neighbors? Are you some kind of Israel hater or baiter? It was determined a long time ago that the US and some other allies would keep the area stable in lieu of Israel and the Saudis...who are perfectly capable of doing it.
