Dave Re...<? Do you have children? Do have have parents?<<<
Thanks for the concern about my family. I have 3 sons, my dad died 2 yrs ago but my mom is still cooking at 85.
You REALLY think it's ok for someone, ANYONE to get behind the wheel of a three thousand pound vehicle while at .1?<<<<<<<
No, I said it was okay under .1. That is what our state is currently, but they are trying to reduce it to .08.Is it safer if the person at the wheel is under .08 as opposed to under .1 yes. But there is another side. Would a person on crack, marijuana or a multitude of other drugs be any safer. By driving the kids out of bars and into the back alleys and apartments and rave parties, have you really made the roads any safer? More importantly, are your kids when they go out at night safer in a bar setting or are they safer going to private parties with their drugs and sex. You seem to feel that if you can keep the kids from drinking, they will stay home and watch the Waltons and go to church on Sunday. Teenagers are in a rebellious stage, you can't control them completely, no matter what you try. Unless you understand that and accommodate it and help with their insecurities, you will do nothing but alienate the kids until they find their own solution. I am sorry, but given my druthers, I would rather have a person under .1 driving that vehicle coming at me, rather than someone strung out on drugs. When you can show me that you can control drugs, then I will agree with you, but until then I consider alcohol the lesser of two evils. Of course, you could always tie your kids up at night if control and safety is your main concern.
You are a complete moron <<<
You are being too kind, or do you say that to everyone, including your kids when they disagree with you? I am sure that will really help them grow up into well balanced adults.
No I wasn't being facetious; but then I trusted my kids when they went out. I never felt the need to control them and say fun is bad for you. |
