It was straight scotch. But that still leaves a stain. -g-

I'm not sure where a screw is as there is no obvious part to pry up to reveal it. And I'm pretty mechanical. By the batteries at the top I see spot welded plastic studs so I think I'm shagged about taking it apart. Will set it on the hot air vent and sees what goes. It has been around 12 years so I guess I got my use out of it.
