First off, don't ever confuse socialism with democracy or liberalism. Socialism can be effective as it is in France or New Zealand or deranged as it is Cuba or Iraq. Most Socialist systems that murdered people by the droves and caused major wars were hard right conservative in their thought and deed. No tolerance for the weak or different thinking and a uniform ideology and a club vs an olive branch as a communications tool. Hitler Stalin Milosovic Hussein are as hard right as you can get!
