Legitimate defenders of the Second Amendment know that to "plug someone" would change their life forever -- they would never be the same again. They would regret it to the bottom of their soul. Those who claim to support the Second Amendment because they think it gives them a chance to "plug someone" are like you. They simply don't understand it at all. <<4. Create enemies to fight and justify a huge defense department.>> Conservatives want a defense such that no potential enemy can sanely justify initiating a fight with us. Again, your lack of understanding betrays your ignorance. <<5. Balancing the books is for future generations>> Conservatives know the real authors of the current "budget surplus" are not Bill Clinton but Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush. Without them, Bill Clinton would have been lost. You see, Rich Fore Eagle, the objectives you promote are the very things conservatives want. They just know how to really get them. Why don't you come on over? You would really be surprised. I suspect you are young enough yet to make the conversion, like my daughter did.
