If that's the plan (which I doubt), Intel is giving AMD an opening to the server market. Intel needs .13u based Fosters (forgot the code name) to be everywhere except the lowest end in 2002.

Think of it the same way as if someone was buying Katmai based P3s or Xeons today. Whoever buys a NEW machine based on that chip today needs to have his head examined, since the Coppermine based product has completely replaced Katmai based product and is much better in every aspect.
