OT/ Brilliance China to Form JV With BMW, Toyota: Report Feb 20, 2001 - 11:25:24 HKT Quamnet News Service Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd. (1114), China's largest minibus maker, has signed a pact with Germany's BMW AG to form a joint venture and is now awaiting approval from relevant Chinese authorities, the Hong Kong Economic Journal reported, without naming its sources. Meantime, CLSA Securities said it expects the joint venture to start rolling out BMW sedans in the third quarter. CLSA also said Brilliance China will also form a joint venture with Japan's Toyota Motor Corp. to jointly produce luxury mini-buses in China, according to the paper. quamnet.com
