If you read closely you will see that Placer said that "Placer has also agreed to provide project management, engineering services and assistance in obtaining project financing for the company's advanced [rojects"...we all know what that means...is this...Placer will be looking at financing the Whopper into production and will also be the missing key ingrediant in the GLOBAL deal as far as advancing the project (once feasible) into production...this is huge news...it just seeems that Placer doesn't want to admit just yet that they are shifting their focus from just gold to pgm's and tantalum etc....but it sems to me that they are basically using Avalon as their exploration arm for pgm's and precious metals...which we all have to tip our hats to Don Bubar for his integrity and hard work in bringing such a major player to the table. This is the beginning of a new era for this company unlike one we could never dream of IMHO.
