Interphase Successfully Completes Interoperability Testing With Brocade SAN Infrastructure
PowerSAN Family of Products Tested With SilkWorm Fibre Channel Switches
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 20, 2001--Interphase Corporation (Nasdaq:INPH - news), a leader in Fibre Channel and next generation telecommunications technologies, announced today the successful completion of interoperability testing of its PowerSAN(TM) family of host bus adapters (HBAs) with Brocade SilkWorm® Fibre Channel fabric switches.
Interphase tested four of its PowerSAN HBAs including the 5540, 5541, 5550 and 5570 with Brocade SilkWorm 2400, 2250 and 2200 Fibre Channel switches through the Brocade Fabric Threads Developer Program. The program is designed to provide Storage Area Networking (SAN) hardware and software developers with the tools and resources to successfully complete interoperability testing with Brocade Silk Worm Fibre Channel fabric switches and the Brocade Fabric Operating System (Fabric OS(TM)).
