Interphase Successfully Completes Interoperability
Testing With Brocade SAN Infrastructure

PowerSAN Family of Products Tested With SilkWorm Fibre Channel Switches

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 20, 2001--Interphase Corporation (Nasdaq:INPH - news), a leader in Fibre Channel
and next generation telecommunications technologies, announced today the successful completion of interoperability testing of
its PowerSAN(TM) family of host bus adapters (HBAs) with Brocade SilkWorm® Fibre Channel fabric switches.

Interphase tested four of its PowerSAN HBAs including the 5540, 5541, 5550 and 5570 with Brocade SilkWorm 2400,
2250 and 2200 Fibre Channel switches through the Brocade Fabric Threads Developer Program. The program is designed to
provide Storage Area Networking (SAN) hardware and software developers with the tools and resources to successfully
complete interoperability testing with Brocade Silk Worm Fibre Channel fabric switches and the Brocade Fabric Operating
System (Fabric OS(TM)).

``IT professionals who are setting up configurations with Brocade fabrics rely on the interoperability and reliability of
experienced providers,'' said Greg Kalush, president of Interphase. ``Interphase believes it is imperative to our customers that
we participate in partnership programs like the Brocade Fabric Threads Developer Program in order to be an integral part of
the solution.''

By partnering in programs like the Brocade Fabric Threads Developer Program, Interphase is continuing to expand on its
ability to provide highly reliable commercial-off-the-shelf products.

``We are pleased to continue our relationship with Interphase and expand the options for our customers in choosing open,
standards-based products for their storage networking environments,'' said Jack Cuthbert, Brocade vice president of
Worldwide Sales, Marketing and Support Services. ``By utilizing the Fabric OS, our partners can leverage the intelligence in
Brocade-based SANs and offer new levels of SAN management functionality to their customers.''

In addition to the Fabric Threads Developer program, Interphase also participates in Brocade's Fabric Aware Partner
Program, which is designed to facilitate the deployment of multi-vendor, heterogeneous SANs in enterprise environments.
