I started to respond on the HP calculator, but I figured it was too late.

I'm an engineer in the oil patch and for future reference, I have on more than one accidental occasion dropped an HP15C in drilling mud (nasty stuff, worse than scotch for sure), and just rinsing it thoroughly with water is all you need to do. The calculator will have all of its marbles back after drying out.
