Yes, Intel is doing some excellent financial management. They are cutting discretionary
spending significantly at the same time keeping all the core operations alive by not making cuts there
so that they can be prepared for next upturn whenever it comes. They are being brave in making
unconventional spending decisions and hedging their bet to some extent at the same time. That is
a mark of a successful company in the long run.
