Come on now, Fred, everyone except the Polys know that companies are reporting poor earnings primarily due to weaker than expected revenue. In the current quarter, only about a 1/4 of the companies in the S&P 500 reported sales above consensus revenue estimates. The problem, Fred, appears to be that top-line revenue growth is slowing. The slow down in growth is occurring across almost every sector and is primarily attributable to a slowing economy. Especially hard hit has been the industrial products, tech and transportation sectors.

I'm only expecting the S@P to retest its most recent lows and the NAZ to hit marginal new lows. But make no mistake about it, Fred, it's a secular bear in its early stages.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROWL!!!

PS Polys need to start thinking from a standpoint outside their pocketbooks. I say confront Reality is what's needed.
