Time of trade ..

I assume most of us are entering trades
long or short on the MAX as soon as it
appears to be a 'valid' signal .. either
on the 'current' bar or the 'next' bar for
whatever interval chart one is working with ..

Just curious, but is anyone just 'scanning'
the charts of tradable candidates and entering
trades in the 'direction' of the signal that
is then in effect on the assumption that there
will be a 'continuation move' ?? Seems like it
would be a viable approach with a good 'trender'
I've tried it on occasion with some success ..
