Quite amazing that random sampling of material knocked off this boulder band-ore.com with a sledge hammer would yield so many diamonds as stated in the last news release and now displayed together with other results on this map band-ore.com . Notice the large spectacular white xenolith. 13 macro diamonds and 474 micro diamonds were obtained from only 16kg of this boulder. The Feb14th news release notes that another 16kg sample taken 150 meters away had 11 macro diamonds and 309 microdiamonds.
This is truly a spectacular and rare concentration of diamonds to find right at the surface. Also it allows the company to readily bust up more of these boulders for a few tons of material to assay at very low cost. Every diamond exploration company in the world would be envious of such a low cost find to date, and such a large amount of material readily available for a bulk sample. Many companies have to search and search by successive drilling of many targets just to find host material that has potential for containing diamonds. Then a bulk sample often requires 6 inch core drill to extract a few tons. Bandore's find is right at the surface, and there is ample material for a bulk sample. Not only that, there are logging roads all through the property. The map shows the areas where sampled and the results to date, for 52 of the 177 samples. So there are another 125 samples, many of which were taken around the original discovery which had 648 diamonds in 212 kg of material.
So lots more to come on this I would expect. After each round of analysis, samples are selected I would expect for the next round to home in on the areas showing the most diamonds and to relate this to the structural features of the site and other exploration data.

Stay tuned................we might even see a photograph of some of the diamonds at the web site band-ore.com
