Palm reports revenues quarterly, not monthly. January was the second month of this quarter. Mr. Neff might be right. But if so, so what? Palm has already projected the revenues to be around $400 million in this quarter (I can not recall the exact projected numbers. Does anyone here know?). If got $51 million in Jan., Palm may need to make up $95 million in Feb. Does a slow quarter kill the future of Palm? No, of course not! Palm's new OS is coming. Palm-cell products are coming. Palm is testing e-wallet. Palm is building its wireless network... PDA should play key roles in wireless Internet. As the market leader and an OS developer, Palm should be able to keep itself in the front of the wireless waves. Yes, the recent margin squeezing selling may knock the NAZ down additional 100+ points. But I don't think investors want to give up Palm shares at such a price level. The coming CPI numbers won't be as bad as last week's PPI. The oil prices may not be reflected so soon in CPI (It's too bad to see the OPEC runs the US economy. It's a big joke! But what can we do?)
