SO- Whadda make of a small handful of stocks (CHKP, GMST, QCOM,) that are exciting businesses, but continue to sport multiples that seem outerworldly (in this new day and age)..

Of course, expensive trash like RIMM is falling as expected, but the 3 I mentioned have held up remarkably well....

Also, whadda think about the PPT jumping in at/before 2000 level on the Nasdaq? Let's face it, SO, a 60% devastation in the Naz (and, at, 2000, we would have that in less than a year)....has serious economic consequences that could be long-lasting and very damaging psychologically....will Greenie (via PPT) practice a little socialism and bail out "die Glockensteinenpfefferwerk"....just to ease the pain? I mean, we are not talking garden-style correction here...just lengthening out (time) the deflation of the bubble (at this point) may have some good consequences, no? Or would Greenie not think in those terms?

Thanks for your posts....one reason why I'm totally cash at night..
