Your post makes a lot of sense. That's why times like these are so tough to navigate. Technically, when I look at certain stocks like EMC its easy to make the case for a short term bottom being close. But yet the damage that i foresee in AMZN is just beginning. With a whole group of generals breaking key support the possibility of a fast moving market to the downside with prices pushing investors closer to capitulation and THEN possibly a V-type bottom, based on some sort of market intervention. We could then have a rally taking us back above the support that is now being broken, into a well needed consolidation phase. whew! This scenario is just one of the many possible things to look out for over the next six weeks. The problem is how do you factor in a FED that can move any time it chooses. Easy to get sandbagged.
