I have always been puzzled at how easy it is to criticize the money a CEO makes and no one seems the least bothered that a Madonna makes more. Even stranger is the idea that people will take political advice from her. Yes... Although I agree that our culture rewards some professions too much, it is only my opinion. Since the market will bear it, then so be it. It is a reflection of the depth of our hearts as Americans, though, that Madonna makes the money she does while theaters and orchestras across our country have to be supported via grants to continue to pay their performers a living wage. Nobody getting rich there... As to political advice... She has the bully pulpit of 'coolness'. People listen to her. Ridiculous as she is.
