It's nasdaq investor sentiment that will determine where jdsu will wind up in the shortterm and its only how the fed can effect the psychology of the markets that counts at this point. I believe now that although rate cuts are positive, a bounce off of this bottom or the establishment of a new bottom once and for all will be the key. If we go thru 2000 we will end up at 1800. That may cause the recession to be deeper than orignially thought.
If AG wants to try to alter this, he should move immediately. 1/10 of a point in inflation doesnt call for the sacrifice of the american economy. Of course all this assumes that a 1/2 point cut will really change market dynamics at this point. I believe we needed the cut before the february decline got out of hand. Last chance for Alan to hold off the forces of evil. Mike
