Question on a download.
I recently downloaded a tax software program to my desktop. After downloading it I installed it from the icon on my desktop and now have another icon for the actual program. I want to delete the original icon (which is the file that installed the program). When I right click the icon and hit delete I get the message "The file xxx is a program. If you remove it, you will no longer be able to run this program or edit some documents."
I think this is just the file that installs the actual program but I'm not sure after receiving this message. If I delete it will it affect the actual tax program that was already installed off of this file?
