You can sent the icon that is the "install xxx program" from your desktop without affecting the other "run xxx program" icon ... actually, removal from the desktop of any icon doesn't affect the usage of the respective program ... the only thing that happens is that the icon on the desktop is gone .. the program is still available by going to start programs Nemer
