Tech Center. Some more details:

Napster officials say the company
expects to charge between $2.95 and
$4.95 a month for a basic subscription
service that would allow users to
download a fixed, but as yet
undetermined, number of songs; for
between $5.95 and $9.95 a month,
users would get unlimited download
rights. But the sound quality of the files
would be restricted, and users couldn't
transfer files to blank CDs or portable
devices without paying an added
amount, they said.

Digital Rights Management Systems: America Online and Bertelsmann will work together on digital rights management issues, including evaluating Intertrust and Reciprocal for secure downloading and financial clearing of all digital content including software. In addition, Bertelsmann will ensure that any DRM system it uses will be ready to use with AOL media players.
