Non-line of sight MMDS, Sprint, California Amplifier Dow Jones has released an interview with Fred Sturm of California Amplifier. According to the story, CAMP will have a "non-line of sight" MMDS system available for testing in July or August, and ready for production orders late in this calendar year. According to the story Sprint is planning to deploy it this year. It sounds like a combination antenna, transceiver, and router, but they do not say that specifically. The story is available to WSJ subscribers only so I am not posting a link. Tonight I will digest it if I have time.
