GOLD shares represent value and a good core long, gold prices have been declining for 20 plus years, can they go down further? not much more because there is an inherent cost to bring the mineral out of the ground, the company is trading at a PE below 10 and pays a competitive dividend, GOLD was offered a buyout which was rejected by SA govt, value funds have been dipping into shares of gold shares, the stock just has to make it back to $7 per share for about a 100% return, the future PE even at $7 per share is still and attractive 14, gold shares represent a good return potential with a 1-2 year horizon, talks have been made of a short squeeze in gold, GOLD has closed out all their hedged position and stand to greatly benefit from any upsurge in gold price, but even at today's depressed price for gold the company is still profitable, earnings rise will flame a quick rise in stock prise from its current basing movement
