Right you are Larry all those companies in the link I provided are lying about Bluetooth...they can't help themselves...they just don't know what the HAL they're doing. While its nominal link range is from 10 cm to 10 meters, it can be extended to 100 meters by increasing the transmit power. Bluetooth characteristics include: Operating in the 2.4-GHz Industrial-Scientific-Medical (ISM) band.
