That's the tough part. :) I've found that if there is twice as many sells as buys, it's going down. Or vice versa. When the buys and sells are roughly equal, it either means there is no action, or it's about to break out in one direction or the other.. Buying OTM calls and puts when i see that occur has been profitable for me nearly every time.
