Zeev,

I call that "walking the fine grey line". Staying out there on the ragged edge. Sometimes crossing the line. Sometimes not. But always pushing the boundaries a little more each time. Sooner or later, people like that piss everybody off and loose everything. I too have a former boss like that. He is not in jail but Florida had to rewrite the mortgage lending law after he went down and the rest of us are suffering the consequences. Note: I left his employ a full year before he got caught. He was so mad at me that he treated my "corporate memory" like the ancient Romans treated the memories of deposed emperors. He removed all record of my ever being there and fired anybody that ever mentioned my name. Which worked out fine for me.
