Okay, here's one.

About an hour ago, i lost my cable connection.

Now I can see the lights working, but every time I try to pull something up, I get prompted to connect to my dial up.

I cancel that, and it still won't give me my cable connection?

Anyone have any clues?

BTW, Mark, I figured out about my inspiron. It's got that sofgt touch thing on the mouse, and I must have been accidentialy pouncing on it when trying to scroll around a page. That's what I am working on right now. desk top is the one witht he cable.
