Bears have always interested me since I was a little girl in upstate NY where we had many black bears. Sometimes they would come up to my Aunt's house who lived in the woods near a maple sugar house. Bears scared me then and they scare me now!! But, they are beautiful!!! A friend of ours has a son that lives in Alaska. He is a photographer who does school pictures in some wilderness areas. He flies into some of the schools in a hydroplane. Our friend's wife is a hunter and she did kill a Kodiak bear years ago, but that is not my idea of fun!!!! LOL
