Ray, I've said it before, I'll say it again: it is absolutely criminal (or, at a minimum, a gross, inapropriate use of limited resources) that our government and/or SEC/Justice, etc...investigates and inappropriately uses VERY LIMITED resources in investigating Microsoft (post-haste), worrying about Elian Gonzales, Marc Rich, and Lord knows what else....INSTEAD of going after, putting pressure, and fixing the one system that probably affects us all in the BIGGEST WAY: the entire financial services complex....Millions upon millions are effected by bad fills, MM games, IPO games, market manipulation, the ridiculous "strong buy/buy"..when the other part of the firm is selling the stock, and on and on. If there were ever a need for more government regulation, there it is. As you so well stated, the "Joe on the Street" gets screwed, while the BIG BOYS benefit....We all know the ways....and that our government wastes our time/tax dollars on ants on the windowsill when elephants are running around loose around the fine china.....
Well, I guess that's what governments are good at. So, to hell with Marc Rich, I could care less if I paid an extra $10 for Windows than I should have......go after CSFB, Fidelity, the MMs! Those guys cost you, me, & everyone else big $$ everyday, and provide (often) little or no value in return..
OK- Rant over-gggg....by the way, I DID make good money trading today, so this is not just sour grapes! |
